Stuart Hibberd's Honda CG125

I have attached a few pics of a 1981, Honda CG125 which, I have just finished restoring. The bike in itself is not particularly exciting however this one has never been used (never ridden from the day it was delivered to the original owner)

The 1 mile on the clock is the delivery mileage from Honda. The bike was delivered to its new owner who, parked it in the garage, covered it over – and left it there for 35yrs!

The owner died 4 yrs ago and I purchased the bike from his widow. Everything on the bike – except for the front tyre and battery, are completely original – even the spark plug.

I stripped the bike down, had components re-chromed where needed and the frame re-painted etc. The tank and seat are in un-restored, original condition……

I renewed the oil and flushed the fuel tank, re-filling with new petrol. I kicked the bike over after restoration was complete….and it ran like a dream!

I would like to show the bike if possible, on the VJMC stand at some future, classic bike show. Obviously, the bike will never be used – at least not by me….
